Centerville Fire Fighters
Centerville Fire Fighters
On a stormy night at the end of July, four fire fighters from the Centerville Fire Department were dispatched to the corner of Bassett Street and Davis Drive, where a Flint Energies worker was electrocuted, unconscious, and unresponsive.

David Bostick, Chad Kahley, Stephan Hutchins, and Raymond Evans responded to the scene. The fire fighters needed to used the Automated External Defibrillator to get Lineman Greg Hill's heart beating again. Hill received second and third degree burns from the electrocution... but is doing well now and has returned to work. The four fire fighters were recognized at the Centerville City Council Meeting on Tuesday, and given a ribbon symbolizing their life saving response.

The fire fighters will be honored by Flint Energies at an event on October 23rd.
