The Charter School Bill decision coming up in the November election has been a hot button issue here in Houston County. The County's Superintendent, Robin Hines, and the rest of the School Board have expressed their opposition of the bill due to funding concerns and loss of local control. Former Minnesota State Senator Ember Reichgott Junge was the author of the first charter school bill in the nation... and spoke to Patriot reporter Mayci McLeod in our studio today.
