Perry Haunted Barn
Perry Haunted Barn
We are just about a month away from Halloween and the Perry Haunted Barn intends to bring you every scare and nightmare you seek this time of year. When you arrive at the barn, you are taken through the Killmore Family's mansion where special effects, strategically placed lighting, and trained actors are ready to terrify you. Director of the Perry Haunted Barn, Jimmy Steffen, says even if you've been to The Perry Haunted Barn in the past, this year is still a whole new frightening experience.

In addition to the barn, there is also the attic, where visitors can try to fight claustrophobia through the darkness in a maze only as wide as a coffin. Outside, a new attractions called "Got Zombies?" allows guests to take on the role of zombie hunters in a vehicle equipped with paintball guns. Members of the 78th Air Squadron at Robins Air Force Base will turn to zombies at night, and for $12 zombie hunters can take a ride through the field and attempt to annihilate them with paint-balls. Regardless of which attraction draws your interest, Jimmy Steffen says you will be scared...

The Perry Haunted Barn is a charity. After operation expenses are paid, proceeds go towards various charity programs. This year, one of the charities which will benefit is the Wounded Warriors project. Guests can also get a one dollar discount off of their entry fee if they bring a canned good to donate.

The Haunted Barn will operate every Friday and Saturday night from 8 til midnight, and every night October 25 through 31st from 730 til midnight. Zombie Stuart Appleton says a visit to the Haunted Barn is a great way to get in the spirit of Halloween.

The Perry Haunted Barn is the busiest the week of Halloween, so it if you want shorter lines, try to go earlier in the month.
