All activities, including an awards luncheon, will be held at the Museum of Aviation.
The day-long agenda will feature presentations by representatives from the offices of Sens. Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson and by state Civil Air Patrol and Air Force Junior ROTC officials. Mary Therese Tebbe, director of public affairs for the Georgia National Guard, will also speak along with Don Michels, national AFA director.
The awards luncheon will recognize outstanding Air Force members at Robins Air Force Base along with an Air Force Junior ROTC cadet and the AFA teacher of the year.
The sessions are open to both AFA members and nonmenbers. There is a $24 fee to attend the awards luncheon and reservations must be made by Sept. 5.
