Sentences handed down in murder-for-hire trial

Life without possibility of parole...that's the sentence handed down yesterday by Judge Ed Lukemire on James "Eddie" Clements.

Clements was convicted last week on multiple counts in the murder for hire killing of his wife Joni back in February 2011. the charges included malice and felony murder.

Clement's confessed co-conspirators, Robert and Richard Sybert were also sentenced in Houston county superior court. Richard Sybert, the confessed gunman, will serve life without possibility of parole.

His father Robert, who drove the get away car, received a 30 year prison term.
