The second meeting began with recognition of Miss Warner Robins and Miss Teen Warner Robins, then it was down to business.
Agenda items included the approval of a change to the animal control policy to bring it up to state standards. The council approved a pair of employee promotions with the fire department, a zoning change to a section of Elberta Road, and a 30,000 dollar contract with the Middle Georgia Regional Commission.
The big ticket item of the night involved the approval of a purchasing bid for 331 thousand dollars in relations to massive sewer and water renovations being done off Hwy 41.
