The Central Georgia Volleyball Association is hosting a showcase Tuesday at Shirley Hills Baptist Church in Warner Robins as an opportunity for local players to show off their skills to the community, and to their high school coaches.

Tuesday's CGVA Showcase schedule is as follows:

6:00- U12 vs U12, U13 vs U14

6:45- U151 vs U152, U16 vs U17

7:30- U16 vs U151, U17 vs U18

The CGVA has had a very successful 2011-2012 season with eight teams, over 80 players, ranging from U12 to U18. The season started in November 2011 and will conclude with the Region tournament this weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. All 8 teams will compete.

CGVA is a non-profit Junior National volleyball club registered with the Southern Region Volleyball Association (SRVA) belonging to the USA Volleyball Association (USAV) which is the national governing body for volleyball.

CGVA is an all volunteer association that organizes volleyball for juniors, ages 8-18, in the Middle Georgia area to compete in competitive USAV sanctioned regional and national tournaments.

Looking to get involved? CGVA is also sponsoring a Volleyball Camp for Beginners on May 14 & May

15th for boys and girls ages 8-14 with little or no experience. Impact certified coaches will teach fundamentals skills including passing, setting, spiking, serving, and game situations. The cost is $30. To register, visit www.cgva.clubpaces.com.
