Williams is accused of receiving $1,720 commission in relation to the sale of a vehicle to the Warner Robins police department. He is accused of making false statements to FBI agents and attempting to persuade another person to stall communication with law enforcement.
The Councilman-- who is running for re-election-- stopped by the studio today to discuss his recent arrest.
He says-- looking back-- he can see how his behavior could be considered questionable, but insists he is innocent of all charges. The Williams insists he never received any money for the sale of the vehicle.
Attached is a section of the interview. The full discussion will air on Tuesday's NewsNight.
