The Warner Robins area lost six hundred jobs in the month of June – that number out today from the Georgia Department of Labor. In all, employment fell from 59,600 a year ago, a decline of one percent. The local labor market actually goes against state trends, as Georgia overall posted a 1.2 percent increase in employment. As for the Macon metro area, positive news there as well, with 1800 jobs added to the workforce.
