Simulator
Simulator
The Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins isn't all exhibits and preserved historic planes... there is a little treat for thrill seekers too. The Transporter is a flight simulator with 12 different films to choose from and moving hydraulics which make you feel like you are actually flying.

Because one of the transporter operators told me Desert storm was the way to go... I had to try it out for myself...

The 12 different ride options come in various intensity levels for all age groups. One of the most intense is the Grand Prix Raceway ride, and one of the least intense is the Wild Africa ride.

If anyone feels the ride is too intense, or experience motion sickness... there is an emergency stop button inside the ride. This stops the simulation immediately and opens the doors within 15 seconds.

The transporter costs five dollars to ride... and along with the gift shop and cafe, is one of the only charges you will come across at the Museum.

David adds these funds raised by the transporter help keep the Museum running.
