The Warner Robins New Law Enforcement Center is coming along right on schedule. WRWR TV 38 got a first hand look at the progression of the new facility. The Mayor, city officials and other media outlets toured the two story building located on Armed Forces Boulevard.

Mayor Chuck Shaheen was thrilled about the work that has been done and the impact it will have on the city.

The new facility is expected to be completed by January 30 and within budget, saving the city nearly $30,000 dollars.

With the new facility will also be the hiring of new officers in which the chief of Police Brett Evans states they aggressively need.

Even the K-9 Officers will have their own office space. The kennels will have indoor and outdoor access, with air conditioning inside.

It is estimated that the new LEC costs $8 million dollars. In addition, to the $750,000 paid for the lot.
