Publix Super Markets Charities awarded a $7,500 grant to Houston County Habitat for Humanity. Houston County Habitat will use these funds to partner with low-income families in Houston County to construct simple, decent, and affordable homes.

Publix Super Markets Charities is a long-term Habitat supporter. Since 2003 Publix Charities has awarded HoCo Habitat ten annual grants totaling $51,000.

“We appreciate Publix Super Markets Charities sustained confidence in our ministry,” said Tom Prior HoCo Habitat Executive Director, “Grants like this are vital in our effort to deliver affordable housing to the hard-working families employed in low-wage, but very essential jobs who cannot afford decent housing for their family.”
