I'm Brandon Evans, it's a thirsty Thursday. We're gonna quench that thirst with plenty of local football talk today as we dive deeper into the rivalry between Northside and Warner Robins...sit back and relax, it's go time for Patriot Sports.

Before we preview the big pigskin game here in Warner Robins, we do have a quick Braves update for you...some good, some bad.

Firstly, the All-Star battery of pitcher Tim Hudson and catcher Brain McCann will be back in Braves uniforms next year as they signed contract extensions.

Also, the player believed to be the future of the franchise, Jason Heyward, we'll he received Golden Glove honors for his performance last season.

Lastly, in some somber news, former Braves pitcher Pascual Perez was was murdered in his home in the Dominican Republic as part of an alleged robbery.

Perez pitched four years in Atlanta, from 1982 through 1985. He was 55.

Back to football. It's Northside vs Warner Robins week and we've had something about the annual clash of cross-town rivals every night here on patriot Sports. Today, we hear from a couple of players from both schools.

First up, a couple of top performers from the Eagles.

Next, we have a Demon duo which also spoke about what the rivalry means to them.

As we gear up for the Friday gridiron battle, we wanted to bring you some of the predictions from here at the station.

One thing is for certain, the MAC will be rocking Friday night when these two teams collide.
