The Lady Panthers finished the tournament 1-4. Things started off well enough as they beat Calhoun 6-4 on Friday. But then they lost to Lowndes 4-0 later that day.
That loss was followed by one to Lassiter, 5-1, Kennesaw Mountain, 6-0, and Paulding County 7-3. All of those were played on Saturday as Perry fell to 2-5 on the young year.
The big winner was Lassiter, which went undefeated. It tied Kennesaw Mountain 2-2 but then beat Lowndes 6-1, Paulding County 2-0 and Calhoun 1-0.
