This year’s event will feature the talents of Heidi Marble – breast cancer survivor, artist and author – as she shares her story about cancer, love of a child, love of a couple, and an unflinching love of life. Also sharing her talents will be Nashville recording star, Colby Dee, as she sings the National Anthem and “I Will Fight On”, a song she wrote for those dealing with breast cancer.
The annual Pink Picnic luncheon is sponsored by Houston Healthcare, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the Central Georgia Cancer Coalition. Doors open at 11 a.m. For more information, please call (478) 975-6585.
