JMA C Oxford

A tall order. That may actually be an understatement of Central Fellowship Christian Academy Head Football Coach Chris Oxford’s assessment of the job the Lancers have in front of them in beating John Milledge.

“John Milledge is a sound team,” Oxford said. But wait, it gets better: “I would go so far as to say not only are they one of the best teams in Double A this year, they’re probably one of the best teams in GISA.”

One of Oxford’s main concerns – maybe “the” main concern – senior Cooper Morgan. Morgan, who Oxford said in talking to the Trojans’ coach almost chose to sit out this year, rushed for more than a 1,000 yards last year and has nearly eclipsed that in the six games John Milledge has played – and won – this year.

“He’s not that big,” Oxford said. “Maybe five-foot-six, 140 pounds. But he’s very good at seeing the hole. And once he hits it, he’s gone.”

Add in a defense that has given up a touchdown or less in four of its six contests plus three quarterbacks that are quite "capable" of running the offense, their head coach said, and it's ... well, a tall order to say the least.
