WARNER ROBINS - Entry applications are now available for the 55th Annual Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. Themed “The 12 Days of Christmas,” this year’s parade will spotlight the many aspects of the season. The parade will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 with a 10:00 a.m. start at the intersection of Houston Road and Watson Blvd.

Local artist and rising Nashville star, Colby Dee will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal for the parade and will be featured on the very first unit. As incentive to enhance the competition for those vying for “Best in Show” for each category, participants have been encouraged to use their imagination with theme-related decoration, creativity and originality. Last year’s “Grand Marshal Award Winners,” judged by the Chamber’s Parade Committee, was West Plumbing. They will follow this year’s Grand Marshal in the parade line-up. The parade units will be judged by the Warner Robins Civitan Club.

The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is one of Georgia's largest Christmas holiday events and provides a great opportunity for area organizations and businesses to gain valuable exposure and show off their community spirit. Each year thousands of community members attend this much anticipated holiday event where business owners, educational organizations and recreational entities unite in an effort to make the season jolly! In addition to the thousands of spectators attending in person, radio listeners will be able to listen live to the parade broadcast on WRWR. WRWR TV38 will also air the parade at a later date.

Entries include: Vehicle (car, pick-up truck or fire truck only); marching units; creative floats (original, handmade, and/ or trailers and towed vehicles); leased floats (pre-decorated floats obtained from the Chamber); and vehicle clubs. Pricing varies depending on entry.

Early Registration Deadline for entries is Friday, October 12, 2012 by 5:00 p.m. Regular Registration Deadline is Friday, October 26, 2012 and Late Registration Deadline for entries is Monday, November 5, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.
