The Middle Georgia Regional Hob Nob is a "mix and mingle" for local voters and candidates running in the upcoming election. No debates took place, however every candidate in attendance had 3 minutes to present their views to the crowd. Those running for the local Georgia House and Senate district seats spoke, as well as Georgia Public Service Commission, Representatives for the Obama and Romney campaign, and both sides of Constitutional Amendment 1... otherwise known as the Charter School issue. Warner Robins City Council Member Mike Brashear was in attendance and encourages the community to participate in the Hob Nob.
The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce organized the event. The Chamber's President and CEO, Morgan Law, says the fact that this is a Presidential election year draws more attention to the Hob Nob.
Early voting is going on now til Friday and Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Tune in to WRWR, The Patriot, for the most up-to-date election news on November 6th.
