Richard Sybert, the accused gunman in a murder-for-hire case, is being extradited back to Houston County Monday. James Clements allegedly hired Sybert to shoot his wife, Joni Clements, in exchange for $1,000, a car, and a date with a stripper on February 8th..

Sybert is currently being held in Florida on unrelated charges. According to Captain Alan Everidge, Warrants and Civil Unit Division, Houston County deputies left for Florida Monday morning to bring Sybert back.

"We are on the way back from Florida with Mr. Sybert right now. We dispatched officers to pick him up today and he should be back in the Houston County Detention Facility this evening," he explained.

His father Robert Sybert is accused of driving the get-away car after the shooting. Both Syberts and Clements face felony murder charges.
